Peak45 is a Lagree Pilates studio that began not with a growth plan, but with a belief: if you make people feel welcome, supported, and seen, they will come back.

Their first location opened in a repurposed studio room in Salt Lake City. There were only a few machines and a handful of instructors, but the atmosphere was shaped intentionally to feel warm and welcoming.

And people responded – clients showed up, came back, and brought their friends.

“We opened the first location with just eight machines,” Greg shared. “Within two months, we were already booked out and waitlisted.”

Scaling the Feeling — Not Just the Footprint

This initial success allowed Peak45 to scale faster than they had imagined, but the central question was how to grow without losing the culture that made the first studio feel like home.

“That was our biggest fear,” Greg explained. “Every location has its own vibe, but we needed people to feel the same consistency in experience and community. We wanted the classes to feel like us.”

Scaling required structure, shared standards, and clarity — so every studio could deliver the same emotional experience, even with different instructors and different clientele.

This is where Mariana Tek became essential.

Building a Seamless Multi-Studio Member Experience

The moment Peak45 opened location number two, it became clear that their previous booking platform couldn’t support the brand they were becoming.

“When we expanded beyond one location, we realized our old system wasn’t built for multi-location client experience,” Greg shared. “Booking across studios didn’t feel good. And the client journey is everything, so that had to change.”

Switching to Mariana Tek allowed Peak45 to unify the member experience across all studios. Clients could:

  • Move effortlessly between studio locations
  • Book through a Peak45 branded app that felt premium
  • Stay connected to their routines while exploring new locations

“Mariana Tek makes it easy for clients, and it helps us manage the business efficiently as we grow.”

A Partner in Growth — Not Just a Platform

As the brand grew to more than fifty instructors and thousands of active members, the service provided by the Mariana Tek team became just as important as the software.

“Our Customer Success Manager [from Mariana Tek] has been huge for us,” Greg said. “She keeps us aware of what’s coming, best practices, new features — all the things we may not even realize we should be thinking about yet. It feels like we’re evolving together.”

And with five studios operating simultaneously, Peak45 began using Mariana Tek Insights to track engagement patterns, class utilization, retention trends, and member behavior.

“The data tells a story,” Greg explained. “We use it to make sure what we think is happening in the studios is actually what’s happening.”

How Peak45 Turned the Summer Slump Into Their Best Attendance Month Ever

Summer can be a slow period in boutique fitness. As Clients travel and routines break, membership pauses increase.

This year, Peak45 took a proactive approach to beat this slump. They launched Summer Sizzle, a ten-week consistency challenge powered by Mariana Tek’s Goals and Gamification features. Members set weekly attendance goals inside the app — making progress visible, motivating, and shared rather than solitary.

Nearly 300 members participated, and the total studio visits across all locations increased by 5% during the challenge period, with lasting impact after it ended.

One location in particular, Sugarhouse, saw a 16% increase in overall visits and a 26% increase in visits per customer during the challenge period.

“Because Sugarhouse is such a new studio, we wanted to make sure the engagement we built early on didn’t taper off during the summer, when things typically slow down. The challenge helped keep our new community plugged in and excited, setting us up for strong momentum heading into fall and our first full year.”

As a result of this challenge, July became the highest attendance month in Peak45 history. And the challenge didn’t just bring people into the studio – It strengthened habits they carried into fall.

What’s Next for Peak45

Peak45’s has studio expansion on the horizon, to extend their community even further. “We want every person who walks into any of our studios to feel welcome, empowered, and supported,” Greg said. “And we want that feeling to scale with us.”

And with Mariana Tek, they’re scaling with soul.
